Throughout her distinguished career, she has honed her skills in operations, underwriting, management, and legal/regulatory compliance, crafting a broad and profound depth of expertise.
Experience
Cynthia has served in an array of leadership positions, including state and national manager of a prominent lender-owned title company, national agency manager for a major underwriter, and compliance and underwriting counsel for a large national title agent. Moreover, Cynthia held esteemed roles as division counsel for a large national title insurance underwriter, national agency underwriter, division counsel for national agency, and senior corporate underwriter for one of America’s premier underwriters.
She is not just a veteran in the field; she is a nationally recognized professional known for her adept problem-solving skills. Her expertise ranges from assisting local, regional, and national agents with state-specific licensing and regulatory compliance requirements, to guiding companies in expanding their business footprint in the title insurance sector. She has also demonstrated remarkable oversight in the rates and forms filing teams for the 2006 and 2021 ALTA forms for two national underwriters.
Commitment to Service
In 2023, with the aim of contributing to the industry at a broader level, Cynthia founded Pine Legal Consulting, LLC. Her consultancy specializes in offering services ranging from licensing to operational issues, and from legal to regulatory compliance, serving a diverse client base that includes insurance companies, regional and national agencies, law firms, investment companies, and individual title insurance producers.
